Meet Luz Arboleda-Riese

I was born and raised in Colombia and moved to Florida in 1986. I met my husband Axel at the Florida Institute of Massage Therapy, where we were both enrolled in the Massage Training Program.  We currently reside in Boynton Beach, FL. I enjoy spending time with my husband and stepson Brandon. We love cooking and eating healthy meals, working out at the gym, kayaking, and enjoying Florida's many wonderful parks and places. We strive to live an active and healthy lifestyle.

I graduated from Florida Institute of Massage Therapy, completing the Massage Training Program, and became a Board-Certified Massage Therapist for the State of Florida in 1993.

I completed classes and received a Certificate from John F. Barnes, P.T. in Myofascial Release; I completed classes and received Certificates from Dr. Vodderschool – Clinical Wellness, Spa Body / Wellness, Advance Spa Body, Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), along with a Certificate in Aromatherapy.

As a Massage Therapist, I have always been interested in how the body and mind works and discovering natural ways to facilitate healing. In addition to being an expert on the body’s fascia tissue system, I continue learning, and taking classes, to develop my skills and techniques. I love learning, growing, teaching, sharing, and helping others to be healthy and the best they can be in their lives. I am passionate about this, and I believe being a “Massage Therapist” is what I have been gifted and called to do in my life.

I am an Independent Contractor, and have my own Practice called “Luz Body Works”. I use a variety of styles and techniques of Massage Therapy, customizing to meet the needs of my clients. I specialize in Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Aromatherapy, and Raindrop Technique sessions, with the goal of helping people achieve physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness, through Therapeutic Treatment.

I am an Independent Contractor, Licensed Massage Therapist for Dr. Peter Vapnek Chiropractic, Massage, Laser Center, in Delray Beach FL, and have been with Dr. Peter Vapnek for over 25 years.

I also work as an Independent Contractor, licensed Massage Therapist for The Orchid Nest, in Delray Beach Florida, since 2021, specializing with prenatal and post-birth clients.
